S1E15. What SLPs Should Know About Audiologists

Dr. Dakota Sharp is an audiologist and clinical assistant professor at the University of South Carolina. He specializes in pediatrics, hearing aids, and cochlear implants in the clinical setting, but has a passion for educating future clinicians. He completed his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) education at James Madison University. Dakota serves as the VP of Audiology for the South Carolina Speech and Hearing Association, and is a member at large for the South Carolina Academy of Audiology. In 2020 he launched On the Ear: An Audiology Podcast, where he interviews professionals from a wide variety of disciplines related to hearing loss and communication.
